The recently established Institute of the Arts Barcelona was founded in 2013 and is located in the beautiful and culturally rich coastal town of Sitges, half an hour south of Barcelona.

Offering courses in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre, the school specialises in higher education in performing arts for international students. The programmes are validated by the Liverpool John Moores University of the UK and with a student body of some 250 pupils coming from over 30 different countries; the IAB is a truly international institute.
Occupying a building that was purpose built for and used by Audi’s European design headquarters, the space is now a modern educational institution. The facilities include a 200-seat theatre, world-class dance studios, rehearsal studios, music practice rooms and a library. Fitted out with our PINA-FIX and PINA ballet barres, the architecture that was once built to inspire designers has evolved and been adapted into inspiring performers.
