Ukrainian Ballet Academy

The Ukrainian Ballet Academy has been training dancers who are now professionals in the best ballet companies for 15 years.

The Ukrainian Ballet Academy has been training dancers who are now professionals in the best ballet companies for 15 years. Based at the Marcelline Institute in Milan, it is the only academy in Italy that offers dance training, middle and high school education, as well as accommodation for boys and girls in the same facilities. The Director, Caterina Calvino Prina, is a dancer and professor trained in the Ukrainian Academy of Kiev. Egor Scepaciov, former principal dancer of the Moldova Theatre of Opera, manages the artistic department of the company.

The school has its own ballet company, the A.U.B Italian Ballet Company,  that gives the students the opportunity to develop and grow artistically coming up on stage since the very beginning of their training. After months of training, they are coming back on stage with the ‘Swan Lake’ and ‘La Fille Mal Gardée’ at the Arcimboldi Theatre of Milan.

We are glad that our Double Arabesque wall mounted supports and our and height adjustable barre ISA are present in the academy and the students train with them. We wish the Company and the members of the Ukrainian Ballet Academy all the best. You can see the gallery on their website and follow them on Instagram.

University of Richmond project

The long history of the University of Richmond in the United States began with its founding as a liberal arts university in 1830.

The long history of the University of Richmond in the United States began with its founding as a liberal arts university in 1830. Over the ensuing years it has grown into its current 350-acre campus with over 4’000 enrolled students and encompassing five schools; School of Arts and Sciences, Robins School of Business, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, University of Richmond School of Law and School of Professional and Continuing Studies.

As a highly regarded educational institute, the University of Richmond has won a number of various accolades; these include recognition as being one of the smartest liberal arts colleges in America, ranked highly for its academic quality and student satisfaction and producing one of the highest numbers of Fulbright U.S. Scholars.

When the university’s department of Theatre and Dance required freestanding ballet barres, Dinamica Ballet was chosen as their preferred supplier. The University of Richmond selected the PINA freestanding ballet barre with wheels and opted for a double row of three metre long wooden beams.

Impressed by our equipment and service, the university also turned to us for their extension to the George M. Modlin Center for the Arts. Designed by Baskervill and constructed by TRENT Corporation, the new extension is fitted out with our ARABESQUE-DOUBLE walled mounted barres.

We are delighted with the ballet barres from Dinamica Ballet. We received quality built, aesthetically appealing equipment and were given excellent service with professional communication. We’d certainly recommend Dinamica Ballet.

Anne Norman Van Gelder- Department of Theatre and Dance, Director of Dance, Artistic Director

Dinamica Ballet are very proud to have supplied the prestigious University of Richmond in the United States with their new ballet barres. We know that for the many years of history that lie ahead, there will be many more awards and recognition for this outstanding university.

The Centre Chorégraphique de la Ville de Strasbourg

The Centre Chorégraphique de la Ville de Strasbourg is a public arts institution that operates as a Communal Conservatory.

The Centre Chorégraphique de la Ville de Strasbourg is a public arts institution that operates as a Communal Conservatory. It welcomes a range of ages from children as young as four, all the way up to adults and offers non-professional training in dance and body techniques.

Children are offered an initiation in dance that begins with a “physical awakening”. They are then taught a curriculum giving guidance to allow them to develop their choreographic culture and acquire an artistic identity of their choosing: ballet, contemporary or jazz. A free practice in these different dance styles is also offered to adults, including afro jazz to Latin dances (in ladies style or dance couples). The centre also offers training in a number of body techniques: Pilates, yoga-Pilates, hatha yoga, classical barre-à-terre and contemporary.

We are very pleased to have been chosen to equip the centre with our Maurice portable ballet barres and we are proud our products are helping to train and develop students at the Centre Chorégraphique de la Ville de Strasbourg.
