At Dinamica Ballet, we have had the honor of collaborating with Grand Audition 2025 in Barcelona, a prestigious event held at the Auditori Atrium in Viladecans. This international audition, organized by D&D Art Productions and founded in 2016 by David and Daria Makhateli, brings together young dancers from various countries, giving them the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of directors and choreographers from some of the world’s most renowned ballet companies. At Dinamica Ballet, we believe in the importance of supporting emerging talent and providing dancers with the best conditions for their artistic development. For this reason, we have contributed to the event by providing our ballet barres, used during the audition sessions by aspiring dancers seeking a place in internationally recognized companies.
A Jury of International Renown
Grand Audition Barcelona 2025 featured a jury composed of highly respected figures in the ballet world, including Aaron S. Watkin, Artistic Director of the English National Ballet; Debbie Turner, from Cape Ballet Africa; and Ashley Wheater, from Joffrey Ballet. These professionals assessed young talents aspiring to join prestigious ballet companies, offering them the opportunity to embark on an international career in classical dance.
The Grand Audition in Barcelona has generated significant media interest, with participants from 32 different countries. The event has been covered by various media outlets, and the Catalan Television channel highlighted it in the News Show, emphasizing the importance of this audition in the international ballet scene, where our Pina double ballet barres can be seen.
